Lafarge machineries helped in opening many roads during snowstorm

 

Amman - Wednesday 14 December 2014- The Machineries of both Lafarge Cement Jordan and Lafarge Concrete Jordan opened many roads surrounding it's cement and concrete plants in Sweileh, and Rashadiyah & Fuheis during a snowstorm which hit all governorates of the Jordan last week. 

 

 

 

In coordination with Fuheis and Mahes Mayors, the machineries of Fuheis Plant worked for more than 150 hours to open the main roads starting in Fuheis and Mahes

In addition, Rashadiyah plant Emergency Team and in coordination with Tafila worked to open the main roads and provided salt to put on the roads to prevent freezing.

Sweileh Concrete Plant team worked during this snow storm to open many main and branch roads in Rahmaniya neighborhood adjacent to the factory, and worked to remove snow accumulated to enable the residence of Rahmaniay neighborhood to move safely. This support was highly appreciated by the residents of Rahmaniya in Sweileh, and local communities in Fuheis, Mahes and Rashadeya.

County CEO  Toufic Tabbara confirmed the company's permanent commitment to helping people around the Compnay's sites at all times, especially in difficult weather conditions experienced by the Kingdom in the last week, based on Company's strategy to develop those areas
