LafargeHolcim Group started operations in Jordan in 1998 when the Jordanian Government sold 36% of its shares in Jordan Cement Factories Company. In 2008, Lafarge entered the Ready Mixed Concrete market by acquiring 51% of Aloul Group. Today, Lafarge Jordan ranks first in the cement industry and third in concrete production.

Lafarge Cement Jordan

Jordan Cement Factories, established in 1951, is Jordan’s largest cement company. It merged with Southern Cement in 1985 and today has plants in Fuheis and Rashadiyah, with an export terminal in Aqaba.

LafargeHolcim Group owns 50.2% of the company’s shares, and the company produces 4 million tons annually.

We are the most geographically spread concrete supplier in Jordan, with 8 sites covering North, South, East, West, and Central Jordan.

Our annual production capacity is 1.9 million m³ with 12 production lines in 9 plants, ensuring high-quality products through automated batching and quality control systems.
