At Lafarge Jordan Cement, our aim is to contribute to sustainable development in Jordan that enables our community members to see a brighter world and be able to build a future that achieves their goals. Launched in 2007, Binaa' is the living proof of our commitment towards sustainable social responsibility that positively affects the lives of all stakeholders, both economically and socially.

Supporting Local Communities |

Lafarge Jordan Cement implements a range of social and cultural activities in the areas where its plants are located in collaboration with the concerned municipalities who are responsible for the implementation of services in those communities. The company also partners with civil society organizations to create income generating projects for local community members and has created a fund to support retired employees establish their own SME projects. |

Education and Training |

Jordan is rife with young human capital who are the backbone of its socioeconomic development and represent a brighter future, especially in light of the Kingdom's diminished natural resources. As a result, education and training are given special attention from Binaa' as arming our youth with knowledge is the essence upon which achievements rely. The Company supports numerous education initiatives and professional development programs, by creating partnership with various NGOs to strengthen its role within this field. The Company also provides its employees' children and those of its local communities with tens of scholarships. |

It is an important pillar in our culture and corporate identity and we continiously endeavor to maintain a "zero" incident record. In this regard, Lafarge Cement Jordan educates its employees in safety measures through various health and safety training workshops held in partnership with expert entities in the field. These activities allow the Company to export its expertise and benefit all stakeholders. |
