Lafarge Jordan Cement Organizes 2nd Paris Trip

Amman, November 2011 - Corresponding with its goal to forge stronger ties with clients, Lafarge Jordan Cement organized its second five-day trip to Paris for 15 loyal customers. The trip was organized in recognition of clients' trust in Lafarge Jordan Cement products, and as part of the Company's efforts to raise awareness and highlight its products' competitive features that are on par with international standards.

 

Winners were selected according to the highest number of cement orders placed during the promotion period the Company launched between June and August 2011. The promotion aimed to further advertise Lafarge Jordan Cement products in the local market and boost their popularity.

 

Habes Assaf & Sons' representative Habes Assaf and Motasem Building Materials' representative Mohammed Itum expressed their delight at the trip and described it as a remarkable and well-organized experience. Lafarge Jordan Cement and Lafarge Jordan Concrete Participate in the 5th Jordan Build 2011 Exhibition

Amman, November 2011 - Corresponding with their goal to maintain solid and sustainable partnerships with key players in the building industry, Lafarge Jordan Cement and Lafarge Jordan Concrete participated in the 5th Jordan Build 2011 Exhibition. The exhibition, held under the patronage of His Majesty King Abdullah II and organized by the Jordanian Constructions Contractors Association, took place on 24th October, 2011.    

 

During the Expo, Lafarge Jordan Concrete displayed several of its latest concrete products which included Artevia®, Morplast® and Light®, and shared with the attendees the latest advances and technologies within the concrete industry. Furthermore, the Company explained that not only does it manufacture and deliver cement products, but it also provides unique construction solutions. 

 

Lafarge Jordan Cement interacted with clients and merchants at the Exhibition and showcased four high-quality cement products including Rasekh, Thabet, Bani and Mukawem. It presented its mobile concrete laboratory to give the visitors a clearer understanding of the Company's concrete testing mechanisms and its lab operations. The Company also displayed its concrete laboratory's mobile testing vehicle.

 

In turn, Lafarge Jordan Concrete's General Manager Eng. Samir Boutata affirmed the Company's interest to continuously engage with key players in the building industry through unique functions such as this Expo. He highlighted Lafarge Jordan Concrete's commitment to continuously develop its operations and play an active role in advancing Jordan's building and construction industry in line with the latest market developments and clients' needs.

 

Lafarge Jordan Concrete boasts over 30 years of experience and currently owns nine fully-automated factories that do not require human intervention in the production process. The Company owns 10 production lines located in the northern, central and southern areas of Jordan, and possesses the largest concrete laboratory in the Kingdom. Lafarge Group operates in Jordan through two divisions: Cement and Concrete.
